About K3 Kimi

K3 Kimi is an independent hosted product built to make Kimi K3 useful for real coding, research, reasoning, and visual-analysis work without hiding the provider, limits, or price behind the interface.

What K3 Kimi provides

K3 Kimi gives signed-in accounts with a paid plan or credit pack a focused interface for the Moonshot AI Kimi K3 model through OpenRouter. The product is built for tasks where context and iteration matter: understanding a repository before proposing a change, comparing evidence across a long research set, debugging from an interface screenshot, or refining a plan across several turns.

The service is independent. It is not the official Moonshot AI website, an OpenRouter product, or an endorsement from either company. Model names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

How the model connection works

A request entered in the chat is validated on the K3 Kimi server and then sent to the OpenRouter model endpoint for moonshotai/kimi-k3. OpenRouter forwards it to the available model provider. The recent conversation required to answer the request and an optional image are part of that provider request.

The OpenRouter API key stays on the server. K3 Kimi applies message limits, image validation, authentication, rate limiting, a request timeout, and a fixed output ceiling before calling the model. Hidden model reasoning is excluded from the response; users receive the final answer.

Clear credits and billing

A text response costs 100 credits and a response with one image costs 150 credits. Chat requires an account and a paid plan or credit pack. No signup credits are granted. The signed-in charge is shown before a request is sent, and credits are consumed only after the provider returns a successful answer.

When checkout is available, paid plans are subscriptions billed by Stripe in US dollars. Each plan states its included credits, renewal interval, and effective monthly amount. Users can manage renewal from billing settings, and the pricing page explains cancellation and credit validity before checkout. If payment configuration is unavailable, the interface disables checkout instead of accepting an order it cannot fulfill.

Trust is part of the product

K3 Kimi identifies third-party processing where it occurs and does not describe third-party benchmarks as internal testing. Published model specifications and prices are tied to dated sources because model providers can update them. Benchmark pages explain what a score suggests and what it cannot guarantee on a user’s own work.

Prompts and image payloads are not copied into credit transaction metadata. Users should still avoid submitting confidential, regulated, or personal material unless they are comfortable with the provider chain described in the Privacy Policy. Questions can be sent through the support address on the Contact page.
